A question with Steamrip

I have a doubt with this site, everyone says it's safe and it's on megathread, but when I downloaded The binding of Isaac: repentance and I saw the instructions note that was in the file it tells me to disable the antivirus and later run an ".exe" as administrator, but I heard that all .exe in pirate games are basically viruses and I don't trust disabling the antivirus which is my only protection against viruses and then run an .exe as administrator.

so what do i do? do i listen to steamrip or not? and what game piracy sites do you recommend if you know of a better one? i'm very new to pirating games.

All exe in pirated games are viruses ? how do you launch the game then lol ?

Steamrip is safe. AV will often show false positives for cracked games. Running as admin, probably not necessary. I'd try running it without admin first, bet it works.

i'm not really that knowlegeable about this, but iirc, usually when a game asks you to run it as administrator, it's because the actual malicious files are not able to get past your antivirus otherwise. So just to be safe, NEVER run ANY PIRATED GAME as administrator, no matter what, if the game won't open otherwise, give up and look for another way to get it.

Except some steamrip games can be played online unlike fitgirl where it's all offline and torrenting

On steamrip should I be using a download manger because I just use megadb and wait for it to install what's the download manger for???
